People come to Camps Bay restaurants & bars on the beachfront either because it’s the place to see or to be seen, or to meet friends for a meal, a sundowner or a cappuccino.

Tides - The Bay Hotel
Tides Restaurant, with its curtain of windows overlooking the Camps Bay beachfront, is the perfect place to start and end your day. Guests are spoilt for choice at breakfast, from the beverage table on arrival, to the buffet flooded with delicious platters, and the option of ordering a hot breakfast. Dinner is destined to be a delight with Chef Brian's creations.
The Retreat Kitchen
There are a couple of things about a farm style kitchen that makes it special: Firstly, the fact that you will always be welcomed, secondly that it is normally where the "good stuff" is kept hidden or slowly simmering. All these hidden and simmering treasures are made with the utmost care and always in abundance, rounded off with "seasoned" timing in the Retreat Kitchen.
Sandy B
Sandy B is the private beach club of The Bay Hotel. Overlooking the popular Camps Bay Beach, it provides an incomparable vantage point from which to enjoy the magnificent sunset. It is a stylishly relaxed venue complemented by the pure aesthetics of the decor.
It's the ideal location for Cape Town's sun kissed socialites and bronzed beauties to lounge on the private deck, revel in the sunshine, cool off with a refreshing dip and indulge in a glass of chilled champagne.
The Mussel Bar
This restaurant on the Camps Bay strip boasts a truly unique and local single dish menu. A rustic ambiance, incorporating old school surf movies, lazy Sunday afternoon tunes and tasty food.
